How to stream out the layout in Virtuoso to GDSII file?

transfer layout to GDSii

Hi everyone.
I want to stream out selected layers in virtuoso to GDSii file.
Anyone know how to stream out the layout?

Follow the below path in your CIW.
File > Export > Stream
1. And in the run directory field, specify the desination where you want the GDS to
be.
2. Specify the Library Name, Top Cell Name and the View Name of the layout.
3. Fill up the Output File as *.gds, where * is your cell name.
4. In Options, select the Case Sensitivity preserve.
5. Now give OK

In step 4,
you may also want to specify the streamLayerMapTable, which controls which layers you are going to stream out

you have to create a map file which contains only the layers you want to export to gdsii. then during streamout options you specify this map file.

you can define following table

Layer Name Layer Purpose Stream No. DataType

for ex

DIFF drawing 1 0
NWELL drawing 3 0

then while exporting gds give it in layer map table option. it will export only diff and nwell layer.
