I guess that is for isolation:1, safety reason, 2, different potential of linked two system. Is there any other reason we need transformer?

does anyone know the connection for mpc8xx. all these diagram are for jtag, but no one shows BDM mode. It should be very close and simple, but just don't know how.
I need to generate a virtual parallel port. of course, there is a driver. Through this driver, when the user access the parallel port like before, the data go out through the usb. How to do it? I see many virtual com port program, but no any virtual parallel port one.

I have a project, which request connect ethernet 10/100M. also need extra large flash, say 256MB. It must handle the TCP/IP, so it reqire some internal or external RAM? how much is that? the large external flash memory. I'm not sure which one is the cheapest and easest solution.

I have done these with Cypress Psoc. For 8951, it's not easy since there are only limited timer to use. You need to generate frequency and keep that some period.

How comes it's possible, PLL is analog staff, use digital logic have no way to sense that. There are some PLL already inside the FPGA for clock generating if you could use them.
