    hi store in eeprom try to generate interrupt from power supply failure. isr will write stack to eeprom.

    hi interrupts occur according to priority, if you do not want interrupt disable them and re enable them when you are ready. to check response to your question you should log in. :wink:

    hi you could try to write a boot loader which will write stack to eeprom and then at power up restore stack. something like a pc in hibernation. ;-)

    hi ponyser is by far the easiest programmer to build and use. Serial programmer with avrdude and AVR8 Burn-O-Mat gui fusebit setting is very easy. AVR8 Burn-O-Mat avrdude GUI 8)

    hi r osc will depend on the carrier freq you use. which ir TSOP1738 will decode 38khz signals. HT12A uses 455khz resonator and carrier of 38khz.

    hi go for current limiting circuit, foldback current limiting would be good in your case. make the car run only when receiving signal.

    hi avr xmega range is 16bit has 256kb flash with more than 24 outputs. avr processors are optimized for c language. if you post your requirements then development board could be suggested. many 8 bit avr have more than 4 pwm channels. 8)
