Cable length that my application required is approximately 15m in noisy enviroment (mostly fluo lamps). Can you point me to that application note. I skimed through some today and didn't find anything useful.

Micro Basic should have examples directory in program files/microbasic. There you will find whole ibutton application for easy pic development board. I am using micro C
and mikro C have example for ibutton.

It is extracted because rs232 is to slow and new computers and notebooks don't have com ports anymore. Yes it is possible to use RS 232 at the begining and later you can upgrade your clone to USB version.

Hi yasser_shoukry. Winpic800 supports 4580 and a lot of others. It also supports a lot of programmers. I used to work with ic-prog but winpic is much better. Download it and enjoy.
Hi zanor. Yes you have to connect target device to yours clone but that isn't only problem that you have. When icd2 connects with pc you should go to programmer/settings/status tab to see which voltage is wrong. Than you will know where is the problem with your hardware. All necessary...
