I am designing 5V fixed powersupply. For that, regulator LM7805 or LM1117-5V which is best?. What is difference b/w 7805 & 1117?. Which is having less failure and cost effective?

how to calculate the trace width for 80 meter distance transmission line. I am using rs 485 ic, and we split the pcb and join it using board to board connector. Single pcb length is 560mm, total length is 80 meter. Shall i route differential pair routing for AB line.
Hi, In orcad 16.3, if we select one component in design entry CIS(circuit editor) is highlighted in pcb editor. This is not working for orcad16.5.

Actually i want to swap the component named as LD2 and LD*, but the swap is not working for this in allegro16.5. It shows the following error
E- (SPMHGE-616): Symbol and layer embedding requirements do not match.If any one knows help me.
