In my obervations and tests, it is most probably not about mechanical stress.
LED modules are potted with epoxy-resin and mounted with a strict mechanical cases and one system placed on bridge - no issue but lots of vibration-, other system is mounted on strict wall -we have issues, less...
Hi All,
We are building for huge LED screen displays.
To power up LED systems, we are using enclosure boxes that placed Meanwell LRS-350-24 inside.
In one of our project, we have faced with an issue.
Issue: MLCC cap 0.1uF 50VDC X7R 0603 over the DC voltage line of LED module is...
Dear andre;
I didn't try any brand, but I tried same brand's another model PSU.
There is no inductive loads, just LED lights, but these lights are controllable lights and they are controlling by computer and change their states hundred times in a second. You can imagine them as outdoor LED...
Dear,
I got many measurements from scope, everything is clear about high / peak voltages.
Let me ask you that are there anyway to reduce ripple current on this cap.
Such as connecting serial resistor on the main input voltage line (24VDC).
Best Regards,
Dear All;
I have defined my problem as detailed in given post.
https://www.edaboard.com/threads/ceramic-capacitor-is-blowing-at-random-time.397719/
I pleased you to read the post.
After observing issues as specified in the post, we have found problems as specified in this post.
Pleased your...
Hi All;
I have issue at ceramic capacitor in my design.
The capacitor is, 1uF, 50VDC, 0603, X5R Samsung capacitor (CL10A105KB8NNNC)
Let me clarify issue.
- I have a power supply, 24VDC output, max current capacity is 15A.
- I have loads which are LED Drivers that can be controlled by a...
Dear All,
Thanks for your replies.
Here is pictures of board.
- One pixel is 12.5cm and whole board is 50cm. Board is flexible because it has 2cm x 50cm dimensions, tiny and long board.
- To be honest, We depanelize boards by trivial and un-professional ways.
- F4 is fuse and D9 is TVS...
Dear All;
I have a problem about a ceramic capacitor in my design.
The problem occurs at C6. Note : C2 and C5 is same capacitor but no error occurs at them.
C6 is 1uF, 50VDC, X5R, 0603 MLCC type capacitor (Mfg P/N : Samsung CL10A105KB8NNNC)
Let me define the board and problem.
- This...
Dear Tpetar;
Thanks for information.
But I don't want to read information from disk.
I need to write down information to disk.
For example, when you check S.M.A.R.T ATA Command set, there is SMART WRITE LOG which has command ID 0xB0.
I want to set 512 byte value to given address. There are...
Dear All;
I have found several ic to function as USB / SATA Bridge Controller.
But I couldn't find any info about given ic/asic can send S.M.A.R.T ATA commands over USB side.
My SSD is connected to PC's USB port over USB/SATA converter board.
I can write and read data, but I also need to send...
Hi;
I have observed unusual behavior in my state machine.
Let me explain what's happenning.
I have 6 states and they are one-hot encoded by synthesis tool.
idle : 000001
2nd_st : 000010
3rd_st : 000100
4th_st : 001000
5th_st : 010000
6th_st : 100000
After reset, state goes to idle(000001)...
Video decoders can detect PAL/NTSC signal and writes them their read-only registers. You can read decoder register and find video standard.
For this purpose I need decoders and mcu to understand input video standard.
It is complex for my application. I need something more simpler to detect video...
I need an IC, that tells me analog video standard.
For example, analog video is inputted from an IC pin and it detects the signal standard -PAL / NTSC- and generates interrupt accordingly.
Max7461 detects active video and it tells me there is an active video on my input.
My IC should tell me...
Hi;
Is there any IC for detecting analog video standard - PAL / NTSC - and generate interrupt according to standard?
If incoming video is PAL, it generates one interrupt from its pin, if video is NTSC it generates one interrupt from other pin.
I searched, but nothing is found. Video decoders...
