    The "Hello World" of SDR

What can be considered the "Hello World" of Software defined radios using MATLAB or Simulink? Could anyone suggest something simple to kick start with SDR on MATLAB or Simulink with a simulated waveform and without using any RF hardware? Such as isolating and decoding an FM or an AM? I found a...

does over heat cause the uC reset ?

It is unlikely that a processor like that would heat due to normal operations. Overheating can cause the Voltage regulators to go for thermal auto shutdown.

active low signals for microprocessors y?

What makes you think that is general? The newer microprocessors run at 1.8v on the lower end and 3v on the higher end. Legacy microprocessors ran at 5v. My guess about the active high and active low: They could have used Active high as easily as active high. But when they design...

Need any papers to know more about inverters

Re: inverter An inverter in the digital Logic context is a device that negates the logic 1 to 0 and 0 to 1 In analog context, in inverter is an DC - AC converter. Your UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) is an inverter.

    Composite video - Wireless help

composite video wireless You are right on all points.... The Antenna is compatible with your chip - The frequency design matches and so does their impedance you need to take care of the interconnect impedance. The website you mentioned has a list of recommended antennae The video signals have...

    how Universal IC testers work?

Re: Universal IC Testers. So with a resistor in series with Vcc shall be okay if Vcc ends up at the wrong pins? If I apply Vcc to pin 40 of an AVR assuming it to be an 8051, The AVR shall see a Logic 1 at port A.0 without a Vcc. Could this damage the AVR?

    how Universal IC testers work?

Universal IC Testers. I was wondering how Universal IC testers work. While most ICs have a fixed position for VCC & ground, some ICs have different VCC & ground positions. If a Vcc & ground are applied to wrong pins, then the IC shall see them as signals without applying Vcc & ground. Will...

    PLC vs Microcontrollers.

plc vs microcontroller I am being taught PLC as a part of out course. However, I am not able to appreciate PLC at all... When we have such low cost microcontrollers, Why on earth do we need PLCs? I read that PLC programmes are easier.... How? Why do we need PLCs today? Or are they just a...

How to increase the bacup time of the UPS without increasing its capacity?

how to increase ups backup time to increase the backup time without adding any extra batteries may be achieved by cutting the power consumption. You could make the screen less bright... Laptops do that.... Switch off devices not under use such as FDD/Lan Cards/Internal Modems etc...
