    Weird resistor color code

I was thinking the same. I built this board like 5 years ago when I was in an old lab with lots of high end old components. It's a board for monitoring a water will level nothing fancy :) and I'm sure that i didn't need this high end resistor.

    Weird resistor color code

Hello, I have this resistor with code color that doesnt make sense to me. I know that this is a very old resistor that I found in an old lab equipment and was curious of it's value I don't have the board yet, so i can't measure it. Anyone here can tell me the value ?

    BSS84 equivalent with bigger footprint

Thank you for your answer. I'm kinda lost, i'm not familiar with all the footprints (i'm an embedded software developer). I was wondering if someone can recommand a reference that suits my need. Thank you

    BSS84 equivalent with bigger footprint

Hi guys, I'm looking for a MOSFET that has the same characteristics as the BSS84 but in a bigger footprint. The BSS84 i'm using is really small ( SOT-23 ) and hard to solder for me. I'm using this mosfet to control the power supply of an SD card. Thanks

LCD display via bluetooth ready product

Hello, I'm looking for a device that has an LCD display (2x16 will do) to display data, but i want to send the data through bluetooth. does this product exist ? Thank you in advance

    Controling AC/DC charger

Hello, I have a GMS/UMTS signal blocker device, I use it to do tests on my 3G module. I want to turn on and off the power automatically of this charger (using a control signal that comes from a microcontroller). I have a mosfet irf3205 and I was thinking to use it to control the output voltage...

CAN bus 120 ohm resistor questions

that makes sense, Is there a away to prove that beside doing heavy tests on the vehicle ? - - - Updated - - - You mean even if I connect the CANH and CANL low to the ground ? the bus will work ?

CAN bus 120 ohm resistor questions

Hello, I have a vehicle equipped with CAN bus, and based on it's schematic, this vehicle has many control units equipped with CAN bus, 2 control units have a 120 ohm resistor, which is normal. I have a custom electronic board that has A CAN bus, and have a 120 ohms between CANH and CANL...

    ESD protection circuit analysis

Thank you for the feedback, I mean by "burned out" broken, I think the technical term is Failed or fault... ? About showing the inductors value in ohms, I checked the datasheet and I noticed a note : "Resistance element becomes dominantat high frequencies.", Yet this is the case for...

    ESD protection circuit analysis

Hello, I have a device that reads CAN bus information, but today the device doesn't work anymore. I opened the device and started debugging it ( I have the schematic ). The following schematic is the part for CAN. CAN1_RX, CAN1_TX goes straight to a microcontroller. I found that the dioes...

looking for a switch board with a ready software

Hello guys, I'm planning to build an automatic test bench. Basically, rather than staying all day turning on and off inputs and pushing buttons, powering off and on the device manually. I was to make this an automatic task. So I would require a board that has at least 15 digital outputs, 5...

Replacing BGA component with an LGA using an intermediate board

Thank you guys for the ideas My BGA component has 188 ball, and the LGA has 144 pad. is this considered a lots of pads ?

Replacing BGA component with an LGA using an intermediate board

Hello guys, I have 3G module in board and I want to replace it with a newer one. The current module has BGA footprint with 188 pads, and the newer module i'm planning to use has an LGA (144 pad) footprint. For prototyping, I was thinking to make a small board that will contain : -on the top...
