It might not be possible. The new netlist will be equivalent with the old netlist, but it will not be exact replication. Netlist is a gate level representation of an RTL created by synthesis tools.

Novas.dll ? You are using windows based simulators .. ?
If its unix, you need the PLI provided by Novas for dumping the fsdb. You can also view the fsdb only using novas based tools.

I am suggesting an alternative. But don't know whether it works. If it makes some wrong installation, nothing a big deal. Your systemC installation will be with some errors. Just uninstall as said in the INSTALL file.

Instead of selecting Minimum Installation, try to install with the default packages(gnome .... etc ..) . From the window which appears before selecting Individual packages.
debussy viewer
There is no link between simulation and schematic viewer in debussy. Once you have compiled the design and loaded the design in debussy, you must be able to view the complete design in nTrace as well as the schematic.

If you have novas installed, you can use fsdb2vcd converter and export your fsdb to vcd.
You can view the vcd file in any of the waveform viewer.

Does the change in schematics automaticallly reflects in your netlist .. ?
2. Instead of creating a partial schematic in verdi, try to do "trace between 2 points" and then load the schematic in the ECO window.
