What is actually analog vlsi!?

Analog Part of vlsi in some post i have read is actually about op-amps mainly in other post they tell it's about MOS and CMOS.
I want to exactly know what to study or prepare myself to gain knowledge and prepare myself, about to finish my engineering this month, please do guide am really confused don't have any guidance or person from analog vlsi industry to guide me
