hi
can anyone tell me what would be the effective word length after decimation. i mean to ask if a signal was quantized say with R bits then after decimation what would be the effective world lenght required to quantize the sampled signal.

Re: question

im searching such type of data, either in the form of
circuit or any already made project or conserning
sites,about
''fingerprint detecting security system''
when anybody touch the thumb on that dieves,
a lazer detect the fingerprints into database and
the door is open otherwise close.

Re: question

nigosawa,
Decimation does not change the effective word length.

Kral
