Hello all,

What is the point of "set_input_delay"?
Does it actually have an affect on place and route?
Is it only for modelling?

Thanks in advance,
Wes

set_input_delay can be used to help with the skew created between two signals on traces on a PCB, or any other things that might have an effect externally. It allows the fitter to set the value in the IO delay blocks at the pins.
