Hello everybody
will be thankfull if anybody can help me soon
i need to design an amplifier by AWR microwave office by a transistor with following parameters
vce=10 volt, ic=2mA, f=400MHz
yie=7+j11.5
yre=0-j0.9
yfe=37-j37
yoe=0.2+j5
this amplifier must have the stability factor k=2
and also need a method to measure noise equivalent resistor in this transistor

is all these can be done with AWR microwave office?
and if so please someone tell me what should i do
Regards Babak

First go find a transistor that meets your requirement. Read the data sheet, look at the
design suggestions and go from there.

You may find a device that will meet your needs but just putting a 50 Ohm input and
output trace to the amp.

search nxp freescale etc to find a transistor download it model .. i suggest to use ADS for designing.

For simplicity, you'd better to convert y-parameters onto s-parameters to able to do s-parameter simulation.For noise,you can calculate Optimum Noise Admittance by using y-parameters.For more info, see textbooks...
