To all,

When i setting up for my PNA-x for the measurement, Why do I need to set my IF Bandwidth below 1KHz ?
Is there any specs for it or we defined ourselves ?

All response are appreciated and welcomed
Thank you

Hi,

where it is written that you should set your IF Bandwidth below 1kHz?

Best regards.

While you decrease the IF bandwidth, you decrease also avarage noise ( remember that noise level is proportional to IF bandwidth) level of the system so that you can obtain more dynamic range to able to measure higher attenuation etc.
