Hi guys,

we are setting up an antenna measurement system with VNA (E-band, rotary unit, 20 dBi standard gain horn).

Could somebody please mention reasons to rotate (azimuth and elevation) the AntennaUnderTest (AUT) and not the standard gain horn (reference antenna).
As it is a reciprocal system, should be the same or do I miss something?

Thank you very much in advance.

Seriously? To measure DUT by moving the reference antenna, you need to drive a circle around the DUT, not just rotate it.

You can rotate the AUT around the AUT center, or rotate the standard gain horn around the AUT center.
