programmer for 89s8253

as per your statement "I don't want to go into it. "

I did not say that.

But it seems that you are totaly right pointing that:

The frequency of the shift clock supplied at pin SCK/P1.7 needs to be less than the CPU clock at XTAL1 divided by 16.

Therefore it is clear why 455 kHz clock while programming is maximum in most cases.

at89s8253 12 mhz clock

Guys,

You are talking about programming and his problem seems to be in recognizing the chip by his programmer.

Dear doctor, maybe the µP that you try to use is stuffed ???

No, it was not.
I programmed it with my friend's programmer (it uses ATMEL software).
I still don't understand why I can program 89S52 and I can't do anything with 89S8253 (yes, 89S8253 is selected, frequency <=455kHz).
