satellite dish health

Are there any health hazards/precautions involved if a satellite dish is placed inside the house, lets say close to the living room window?

Regards

No, other than bumping into it.

A Satellite dish is a receiver.

Antennas placed indoors generally don't work as well as those placed outside.

Satellite signals are affected by window glass; a typical transmission loss of a single-pane glass ~ 2 mm thick is ~4 dB. For a particular channel, tilting the window can reduce the loss; I tried even tuning the loss by turning the aluminum-strip blinds. It works in Ku band, only it is frequency selective.
LNB does not radiate as it is a receiver- a local-oscillator leakage is under one nanowatt.
Satellite antennas are designed for outdoor operation; any attempt to use them indoors introduce signal loss as above.
