radiation hardening of cmos ckt

i have to design a cmos ckt in atlas(device simulation).and then to applies radiation doses of this ckt.what is the way to design this ckt.

There are texts on radiation effects. You will find that the
theory usually trails the reality, and models are better fit to
data than the other way around. IEEE NSREC short courses,
RADECS and TNS papers are good learning material. There
is a lot of science out there. But the art is less talked about
(the USA makes it illegal to publish the really interesting
stuff). The CERN community however does a lot of designs
and publishing.
