Problem with AT24C512

Hi all,
Im working with AC24C512 using ATMEGA64. I have code work fine with ATMEGA32 but when i use that code for my ATMEGA64, it did not work. I dont know why. After that, when writing to EEPROM, i try to write 2 times and its OK. So what is my problem? Before, i worked with ATMEGA32 and i need not write 2 times. Plz help me. :sad:

Can you post or upload our code? Also post or upload the schematic of your design if available.

Have you implemented the proper pullup resistors in the I2C bus?
