hi friends
i m doing prj with pic 16f877a
i m in need to communicate 4 MCUs by using LIN
but i dont know anything abt LIN...
plz help me

Lin uses the uart, but to connect it to the Lin bus you need a transceiver.
Microchip do one, the MCP2021 which has a built in 5 volt regulator.
Or NXP TJA1020 is another popular transceiver.

Hi everyone Im doing similar project Master LIN interface need to be connected to the USB port Im allowed to use hyper terminal to connect it...

as far as I know I need to use ftdi chip, PIC micro and LIN TX RX chip, but my experience with programming are poor.....
does someone can help me, give me some tips, advice how to do it?

You would be better off using the Microchip Lin Serial Analyzer.

**broken link removed**

It uses the PC USB port and it comes with software to drive it.
