cd4013 one shot

I need to find a logic circuit with output High upon power up. The output will be Low when a pulse is applied to the input. The output will stay Low even subsequent pulses apply to the input. The 555 monostable doesnot work. Any idea???

why don't you just use a power monitor device

something like MAX706 (DS1706) ?

the 555 circuit should work .
Use bias components to produce a pulse on 555 power up. Us second 555 to reset pin of first to disable it.

use the cd4013 flip-flop

use the clk pin for the input, Q pin for the output,
about the detail message you can refer to the datasheet of cd4013
Hope it can help you.

sorry for not understanding your meaning

the cd4013 can't keep low when the other pulse come in.sorry!

Thanks all!
Sometimes 4013 works, sometimes it does not, I guess depending on output Q. I am not sure how 555 is set up. Not sure if Reset pin of Max706 will stay Low after the first input pulse, whether or not subsequent pulses apply.

why not use the good old LS123 dual retriggerable one shot ...
