need help for simple Zig bee application

HI i m using microchip 18f pic and MRF24J40 RF Zig bee module. i need to simply communicate two micro controllers using this module. Microchips examples and app notes guide for full function wireless networks with lot of features. All i need is simple point to point communication.. Also i have very limited time to finish the project. any one have done project with microchip ZIgbee? thanks in advance
