Hello,

Has anyone worked with Logarithmic digital pots.
I have worked with Ds1804-100 which is a 100Kohm non-volatile digital pot. Since this is a linear one, I have problem when controlling audio volume. So I am thinking of changing it to Logarithmic one and I found MAX5407 as an ideal one, but only 32 taps. Anyone knows higher tap Logarithmic Digital pots?

Thanks

The DS1801 is a 64 tap device, with dual channels.

I would guess so.
This is a Maxim Semiconductor device. Go to their website, and make a parametric search.
You may want to search Microchip's website.

I got MAX5407 as single channel in 8-SOT package, even though it is 32-tap.

Thanks
