Ideas for an innovative power supply final year project

i'm electrical engineering student and having problem of what project i'm going to make.
can any one help me on this, im of innovating Uninteruptible power supply,
or any.
i'm going to ndergone a project needing prototype,
please help me on this.

if u r a good student and have a command on practical subjects then u can go for some project in image processing, many papers are available online.

My advice for u is to make an alternative energy source...Make a big wind mill....produce 12VDC from it...Charge battery(12V) with it...Then invert it to make 220VAC...as u say u wanna innovate UPS....u can do that...

i suggest you ,

smart solar charger ,
digital dimmer for 3ph,
digital star to delta converter,
MSPRC modified series parallel resonator converter [ for improvement of PF],

or any small application based on X10 , which is related to data communication through mains !

we are thinking of making a under and overvoltage protector raging 5V to 12V DC only prototype with limited resources bcoz we are from a 3rd world country... anyone can help me please...tnx.

if you are a final year student go for laser beam modulation and all such kind of things
