How to use simulink with modelsim, when there's ipcore involved?

I have no problem running simulink to invoke modelsim, when there's plain verilog files.

But when there're Ip cores, the process always fails.
I'm not using the Dspbuilder or System generator. Just want to use simulink to provide a easy and full testbench data, and possibly compare the output in simulink.

Can anyone specify how could Ip core involved verilog files be simulated by simulink?
Thanks in advance...
