my codes need to read a vector and I put the vector file in the codes folder, but when I compile it with VCS, it always told me:
Warning: Can't open test_vector_01.txt: No such file or directory

How can I do to solve it?[/quote]

The error message is quite clear. Maybe this file exisits in a dir that's different than your run dir? Show us exactly how your commands look like

hi, Thanks Ajeetha!
I have solved it, the file should be kept in the same dir where the top module is.
