Hi everybody,

I am controlling DC motor with opto-coupler, my opto-coupler gives correct output i.e. when ther is no obstacle the output is 0volt and when there is an obstacle in between then the output is 5volt.

But as soon as i connect to the P1.1 of 89v51RD2 it sinks all the voltage and provide 0volt in both the condition i.e. when ther is no obstacle and when there is an obstacle in between, so what to do in order to overcome this loading effect???

hello ,
you have interface DC motor with 89v51rd2.
LED is glowing or not in ur optocoupler when you have connected output from controller to terminal 1 and 2?
