Re: Reverse 1-hot encoding?

Hi,
I have a CAM design that outputs an address that is 1-hot encoded.
I was wondering if anyone here has done anything to reverse 1-hot encoding before in vhdl?
Thank you

actually it seems fairly simple.
Just a for loop should do it.
Thanks

Re: Reverse 1-hot encoding?

What is an advantage of reverse 1 hot encoding....??

Re: Reverse 1-hot encoding?

The way I see is to do a priority encoder.
