Hello,

I made a inverter in Hspice with an input "Vin". I measured 3 powers as follows:
.meas tran p_vdd avg p(vdd)
.meas tran p_vin avg p(vin)
.meas tran p_avg avg power

and then went to the .mt0 file and got p_vdd=-1.580e-5; p_vin=2.181e-10; p_avg=1.471e-5.

1) why p_avg != p_vdd + p_vin ? (There is no charge stay in the output node cap)
2) How much is the total power consumed by this circuit?

Thank you.

Hi usa2005!

I was stuck upon the same question. Did you find the reason?

Thanks.
