hi frnzs

i want to design a voltage to frequency converter using lm331 . the circuit should give 1hz output for every 1.22mV .

thanks

Re: v-f converter

If for the full scale input of 10V the full scale output is 10kHz, the relation between input and output is:
1mV <=> 1Hz ( 10000mV <=> 10000Hz)
So, if you need 1.22mV <=> 1Hz, you will need to reduce every 1.22mV to 1mV ..
In this case, use a simple 2-resistor voltage divider (for example, 2.2kΩ and 10kΩ) and divide the control voltage (before feeding it to Rin=100kΩ) in the ratio 1:1.22 ..

Re: v-f converter

HI

I´m using lm 2907 frequency to voltage converter. It´s a very popular component and it´s easy find some base circuits with him.
