Help me design a circular patch in FEKO

i want to design a circular patch with epsr=2.2,h=.1588cm,frequency=10GHz i feko..how to design this one plz help..

I think radius will be around 5mm.
If not can u give me design the equations.

Unit must be changed to cm not mm so it is...
r=0.52492 cm

Hello,

In any EM software tool, follow the below steps...

Step 1. set the project default units cm, GHz, etc ...

Step2. Draw the structure (Patch layer, Dielectric layer & coax feed/probe) use the calculated dimensions Radius, Hight/thickness, length of probe, etc...

step 3. Define the Dielectric & Conductor material properties, Er, Losstangent, sigma etc...

Step 4. Define excitation Ports & Bondry conditions (for Radiation patterns)

step 5. Define mesh/Simulate or analyze the design

Step 6. get the simulation/post processing results S11, VSWR, Gain, Radiation Patterns, Impedence
