Help in Ie3d

I am designing a patch antenna with a W shape ground plane. I obtained the W ground plane by using 2 ground layers. By connecting the vertices of polygons on the two layers I obtained the bent structure and then deleted the polygons.....How do i fill the region between with air dielectric.......Is this the correct way to construct a W or inv V shape ground plane.........?? or is there any other way.....please help me........

why you need two layers to build the gnd plane? Pls clarify the structure in more detail.

As for the filling the room between two layer with air, it is quite simple, just like filling the room with other dielectric, except setting er=1
