Normally we have 30dB SINAD (similiar to SNR concept in mobile phone) to measure the wireless sensitivity via FM headset connecting on mobile phone.

From 2G/3G phone, we normally know that Sensitivity equals to -174dBm + 10log(Bandwidth) + SNR + NF.

Now how do I emulate this formula on FM??

Thanks

For FM radios the least SINAD generally consider as 12dB. So you can use this value in the same formula. Care muste be taken as the bandwidth should be the demodulated bandwidth. For example voice it should be 1KHz. I think r u got it.

hi there i intent to design a microstrip antenna for FM band with 20dB gain can you guys kindly help.
