Did anyone have success jumpwiring a MIPI-CS2 sensor?

Did anyone jumpwire a MIPI-CS2 sensor with a lattice evb?
How viable is jumpwiring for those high frequencies (of course short traces)? 500-800MHz?

I'm just about to get started with that but some information upfront would be nice to have.
In the worst case doing a PCB myself for this wouldn't be an issue but extend what I want to do..

thanks, I'll try to jumpwire the boards within the next days.
I just read through the sensor datasheet and there are some useful registers eg. custom pattern values so I can somewhat pre-validate the data before moving it to the pc domain.
