if this is the case sir, then this means I have something wrong in the basics,,
can you please make this simple program for me in C, using the interrupts for both recieve and transmit...
because many a people over the net use
polling for transmit
interrupt for recieve
why??
IS THIS THE STANDARD WAY OF USING THE SERIAL INTERRUPTS??
OR
ONE CAN USE THE TRANSMIT AS INTERRUPT TOO?
serial0 interrupt 4 is the serial interrupt subroutine ,the interrupt is called but data for LCD is not taken and also the interrupt flag is reseted in recieve_data and send_data() functions from their the lcddata() function is called.

I am not much conversant with C, I will go through the program and try to figure out what is the trouble.
One frank thing is that I could not get very clearly what steps are being implemented sequentially, any way I will look into it again.
