configuring emac in virtex 5 using dcr bus

Hi all,
i am trying to configure ethernet MAC available in Virtex 5 through DCR bus. I am following all the steps they have given like for writing write the data into dataLSW and write cntl_reg.
but i dont understand for some reason when i am reading it back it shows "00000000" on dcrdbus.

Can anybody help me.
