I am planning to by car mp3 fm transmitter.I this device is a orignal stereo or a mono transmitter?(cheap chinies around Rs.190 to 250 ).wil l i get stereo seperation through my car speakers?
Being an MP3-capable device, I suppose it SHOULD be stereo... but well, a car is so noisy that I reckon you can hardly notice the difference between mono and stereo :-D
branded mobiles and portable fm radios will show idications/text of stereo reception. carry your portable testing gadjet and ask for demo, then u come to know about stereo tx ,quality and range.
I have been very dissatisfied with this style of MP3 player.
Particularly, the "random" shuffle playback feature is either
absent (was, on one that looked similar to this shown) or
a non-random (or always pseudo-randomized in the exact
same order) sequence. One "MP4" that had the LCD video
would always short-loop through the same couple of songs
on skip-forward despite having several hundred loaded.
I much prefer the thumb-drive MP3 players and use one
through a generic 1/8"-plug RF modulator on my older car
with cassette deck. Both pieces are inexpensive on eBay.
The only downside is an extra length of wire, and one
AAA battery a week.
The ignition noise is minor and acceptable since the motor
is not exactly quiet.
