I have to charge a 7.4V battery of 2500mAh with 12V dc. What should be the current output of the power supply? what is the mathematical equation for this?
If I want to charge the battery with another similar battery, how efficient will it be?

I hope its helps you.

It's a LDO. It is not power effiecient.

It gives maximum 800 mA charging Current .

Your battery fully charged in more or less 3 hours..

What you expect the charging current?

ah,i think you real need a dc-dc converter.Just search it on linear website
