whats a mosfet

can anyone help me in learing analysing the BJT's and MOSFET's

we have to actually analyse the DC and the AC parts of the given circuits at high frequencies and also at low frequencies.......

please suggest me some good resources and e-book on the internet

bjt library pspice

U can read the electronics book whose authors are Sedra & Smith

bjt analysis best book

the gray & meyer book may also be a good choice.

good book on mosfet and bjt desing

Hi
The Sedra's book is good, i think.
You can get sample chapter about BJT of this book at **broken link removed**

Regards

best learning book for bjt

I think you can read the book of ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF ANALOG INTEGRATED CIRCUITS BY GRAY

good books on mosfets

In the " ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF ANALOG INTEGRATED CIRCUITS BY GRAY ", it has many detailed describe.

bjt best books

I think Electronic Principles - Malvino is the best book for learning later you can switch over to Sedra & Smith

I agree with mobile-it, and ART OF ELECTRONICS is good resource too.

leomecma

Intergrated Analog Circuit Design by ken martin be good choice also

Gray's book is quite good, I think!

to really master the concepts involved in BJTs and MOSFET....Just try your hands on SPICE.

A single spice simulation done by you can give you lot more insights that a whole chapter.

At the beginning , I think you should have some knowledge on MOSFET modeling in SPICE foe example , what is the BSim3v3 modeling for MOSFET . SOme books discuss on this subject .

I'll go for Sendra & Smith...afterward when u understand which area to go then pick the other book suggested.

Yes, have a hands on expirience in spice..Studying this way after understanding a circuit is ok.

hi,

If want to study mosfets in deep and have some analysis of them at circuit as well as device level. here is one good book

CMOS Digital Integrated Circuits Analysis & Design - by Sung-Mo (Steve) Kang, Yusuf Leblebici

for analog cmos ciruits.

Analog CMOS circuits be Behzad razavi is good one.

while sedra gives an analysis at elementary level... gray and meyer does a more detailed analysis at different levels... I suggest gray and meyer wud b better of the two for ur needs...

Hi all
for ac &dc analysis of BJT AND MOSFET the best books one can c are
integrated electronic by millman halkies
electronic principles by neshelsky and boylsted
if u want a good theoritical approach u can also refer to streetman (but takes a long time to understand and study)

Design of Analog CMOS Integrated Circuits by Behzad razavi is a very good one for beginning
learn deep in device model and spice model can do good for understanding the circuit
some spice mannual is good one to learn

I would not recomend Sedra and smith, what you might do is go to nearest library (preferably university library) and read couple of books... one book may have something other book doesn't have and vice versa. I learned that if you really want to get to know some topic you can't depend on one single book.

i would suggest you to go to www.allaboutcircuits.com
this is a good site as it presents a good and detailed description about the spice models and also about the configuration methods while also explaning about the basics of the BJT and MOSFET
