hi,
In which mode Ferrite Core Power Inductor inductance is measured? There are two modes in my LCR meter labeled SER and PAL. And what is the difference?

Hi,

I assume it's how the meter calculates the values:
R and L in series, or R and L in parallel.

I recommend to read the meter's manual.

(And I assume it makes not much difference with an almost pure inductance. Did you try both?)

It means the measurement in parallel or series. Normally high inductance at low frequency will consider as parallel measurement. Low inductance at high frequency will consider series measurement. See the chart for more clarity. Hope it is helpful
