I M JUST NEW TO FPGA AND HAVING PROJECT OF MOTOR SPEED CONTROL THROUGH PWM
IN XILINX I SUCCESSFULLY SYNTHESIZE THE VERILOG CODE..

NOW HOW TO INTERFACE FPGA TO OUTER WORLD
I HAVE TO INTERFACE H-BRIDGE WITH FPGA SPARTAN 3AN XCS700
I HAVE DOWNLOADED DATASHEET BUT DID NOT GET HOW TO GIVE INPUT AND GET OUTPUT FROM FPGA
WHICH PINS I HAVE TO CONNECT ??
ANY QUICK HELP???

Did you create a UCF for the pin placement of your design? As you have a board you are supposed to run this on, did you get the schematics for the board and determine what pins go to which connectors? If you didn't do this then your pins will be selected by PAR and probably won't match anything on the board.

Next time insert the image using the insert image upload feature of the forum Capture.PNG, I dislike links to picture archives.

I've never used a Spartan 3an starter kit, so I have no clue what that connector is used for. Have you looked at the board documentation. They normally tell you what all the FPGA pins are connected to and which connectors you can make use of. If there is some sort of mictor or a plain old .1" spacing header of the board I would use that.

I suggest you do some reading.
