    Bad News! The IC5.0 cannot be installed in Redhat Linux 9.0!! But you can install it in Redhat 7.2/8.0, then tar the installed directory and untar it in Redhat 9.0. Try that, I've done and works fine in Redhat 9.0.

    You don't need to edit it. When you created a new library or stream-in a database, the new library will be append to the cds.lib by auto.

    It is normally in $CDS_INST_DIR/tools/bin/ not in doc directory.

    "openbook" is for IC4.4x. "cdsdoc" is for IC5.0. So, make sure your IC version first. And you cannot input cdsdoc command in CIW by typing. You should input this command in your shell.

    In IC5.0 the openbook is moved to cdsdoc. Yes, you can invoke the cdsdoc in CIW by click Help -> Cadence Documentation.

    Dracula generates .DAT file, is it normal?

    question about dracula What version are you using? I'm using V4.8 and I never saw a -.DAT file in running directory.
