hi,
I'm trying to install Ic 5033 on RH 9.0 and I'm having some problems during installation. I copied all the files to my HDD and trying to install from there... When i started SOFTLOAD, I'm getting the following errors :
Specify the CD-ROM mount point
1) /cdrom
2) Other
m) Main Menu
p) Previous Menu
h) Help
Type your choice: [ 2 ] 2
Type the CD-ROM mount point: [ /home/kiran/temp/IC5033_lnx86.Base/CDROM1 ]
tar: This does not look like a tar archive
tar: Skipping to next header
tar: Archive contains obsolescent base-64 headers
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
./softload: line 1412:
Could not extract information from FS.0 of CD#1.
Could not get platform or release information: command not found
Can anyone help me in ovcercomming this problem. Thanks.
