cadence 618 installation

Dear All
I have installed cadence in my system(ubuntu based)
When I am trying to run virtuoso, the following errors are coming.
OA file is not found.

/home/eee/cadence/installs/IC618/share/oa/bin/sysname: 210: [[: not found
/home/eee/cadence/installs/IC618/share/oa/bin/sysname: 244: [[: not found
/home/eee/cadence/installs/IC618/share/oa/bin/sysname: 210: [[: not found

/home/eee/cadence/installs/IC618/share/oa/bin/sysname: 210: [[: not found
/home/eee/cadence/installs/IC618/share/oa/bin/sysname: 244: [[: not found

how can I sort out this issue?


Please suggest me something to resolve it.

Does a disk search reveal the missing file anywhere on your disk?

Did you install Cadence in the Programs directory? Or in your User directory?

Ubuntu is not blessed distribution.
What is in lines 210 and 244 of sysname script?
You may need to install number of additional packages (did you check what libraries are needed by virtuoso?)
