dracula working directory

When I use Dracula to check DRC error,
Dracula generated "-.DAT" file in my working directory.
Does anyone know that what command in command file create it?
Is it normal?????? :?:

It is normal enough. After you run jxrun.com, a lot of '.DAT' files are generated. So you should make a new directory as Dracula working directory. When you don't need these files, you can just remove all the files in this directory.

how to change default directory in dracula

Before running Dracula, you should have to run PDRACULA first to "compile" your command file.
When PDRACULA done, it will generates the "j***.***" files, and the "jxrun.com" is the really what Dracula to run file. You can use vi to view this file, there are many stages in it, every stage is a individual execution command. They generates the "*.DAT" files. And they can be simply delete by "rm" command when your Dracula done.

And in your command file, in the *DESCRIPTION block, a command called KEEPDATA= can accept these options:
YES: keep all DAT files when Dracula done.
SMART: only keep useful DAT files when Dracula done.
INQUERY: generates extra DAT file for Dracula Interactive.
DRACULAINTERACTIVE: same as INQUERY
NO: deletes all the binary-generated files at the very end of the Dracula.

change working directory in dracula

If you have installed the openbook that came from C@dence, you can execute it and find out more detail information about Dracula usage.

I know Dracula generate many *.DAT files in working directory.
But I find that it generate a special file, that file name is just -.DAT
In my command file, I do not output any file using the name "-".
I think it is very stranger!!! :?: How come?

question about dracula

What version are you using?
