Hello Guys...hope you all doing good today...I am looking for timer switch that can turn on and off the switch continuously. For specific needs, the circuit should turn-on the switch 6min and then turn off, after 5sec it will turn-on again for 6min and so on...Please help...thanks.
Re: POWER PFC250 (power-one power supply) Load test need help
Hello...for the update...i just installed directly the power supply into our system and it works.
Though still doesn't understand why load test can make it right...thanks EDABOARD.
Guys thanks for the responses...I just directly installed the power supply into our system and it works. But the load testing i still have to study back if have time. This is one of the power supplies acting weird on load test. Need to close this thread...thanks again EDABOARD.
Thanks guys...i connect 1ohm resistor (25W) across V1 and across V2 connected 2.2ohm (25W).
THe result was not good. The V1 (5V) dropped to 4V and V2(12V) dropped down to 5V.
Any idea guys....do we have problem with the power supply? Or load set-up...remember the condition below....also V1 and...
Hello Guys...here I am again...am still getting unclear idea on how to load test my power supply PCF250-4001. Really needed help who can explain in "layman's terms". You can see the image below the power supply drawing...so how I am going to connect the load (using load resistor) to satisfy the...
Hello Guys...this is related to my power load test topic. I need help to verify the circuit in the image. Does it valid? I search internet but I saw that always have a resistor between R1 and R2 going to ground...This question may look funny but thanks to those who can help.....thanks again.
Re: POWER PFC250 (power-one power supply) Load test need help
V3, V4 read 12Vdc when I load 20 ohms...current 0.6A based on calculation. Anyone help please draw the wiring on how the connection of load should be to make it work. Thanks
Have you tried element14? It's Farnell in UK...Check this link

Re: POWER PFC250 (power-one power supply) Load test need help
I put a 20ohms 25W resistor at V3 and V4...the voltage output is maintain 12V from both. But I want to test up to the max capacity for V3 and V4. And also for V1 and V2...I have attached the drawing. Really appreciate any advice on...
Thanks to both of you BradtheRad. Thanks also Kripton2035, I will find time to explore your link. I would like circuit design that can test also polarized capacitors...Am still open for any suggestions...thanks.
Hello...really appreciate someone can share me a circuit design that can electrically test and detect faulty capacitor (beside ESR meter or any capacitor meter).
Using function generator and oscilloscope can be fine...thanks
Re: POWER PFC250 (power-one power supply) Load test need help
Hello Treez...still not getting output when load is attached in V1, V2, V3, V4....I follow the following on V1 and V2:
"Minimum Load, V1 Minimum load required to maintain regulation on V2 at maximum loading All other models 4 Amps"...
Re: POWER PFC250 (power-one power supply) Load test need help
Hi Treez, what I mean is the PFC250-4001 specs are:
V1 = 5V, 40A = 200w
V2 = 12V, 10A = 120w
V3 = 12V, 6A = 72w
V4 = 12V, 3A = 36w
So the total power output power is 392W in which it doesn't match with 250W as per specs...I believe...
