i wonder which type of ir receiver u r talking about!!!the most common is the t shop 1738
plz refer the data sheet as per ur frequency!!!
this will help u as an example..
hi,
at first i calcutated the value of current through the led using the formula:
I = (Vs- Vl) / R
Vs-supply voltage
VL = LED voltage (mines is white so 4 v for this)
R-the resistance i have in series with the diode
then i calutaed the resistance of diode using R=V/I
i dont think i m going...
hello keith,
i m using t-sop to deal with infrared......to go on details,i have frequency of 38khz from ir and t-sop 1738 but sometimes it works and sometimes fails.i m not being able to make it stable!!!!!!!
shashir
hello every one,
is there any alternative for t-sop???t-sop is so sensetive with supply and gives numerous problems while adjusting, how to have the frequency receiver part much stable and effective?????
shashir
hi,
i m intrested to know about the resistance of light emmiting diode.the problem is the formula i m using is not working.
i wonder anyboby can help me with the correct formula.
thank you
Re: how to burn an ic??
thanx pranam....it would be best if u teach me with the most basic one..i will follow you one by one .
the basic and the easiest type will work as a newbie for me.
you know much much better and i hope you will help me out

Re: School Project
i do have a better option as this is an advance project rather not a school project.do less but complete and understand ur project.
you stated you project as security system right.as a school project you can just use NE 555 timer ic at monostable configuration, pass No. 3 pin...
At first u have to check on which frequency u r working upon.like say you ir signals a frequency of 38khz then u can have a special sensor,t-sop 1738 that will sense only the provided signal on the receiver part.
connect your timmer IC NE555 output 3 no. pin of monostable configuration to ir...
sorry but i didnt understand shift register????
could u plz clarify it more widely.also i want o know why D instead of JK in most of the case/
thanku

Re: how to burn an ic??
thank you guys.
this will really work out.by the way can someone just give me a small basic tutorial on that.let me start with lightning the led firstly.then i will get some ideas with that one.
thank you

Re: how to burn an ic??
thanx for the reply,
actually its abut micrcontroller!
i do m naive with this section and trin to do this for the first time,m bit puzzled with the details therefore.i dont know how to get started with.
i hope i will be helped to understand this clearly.
thank you
shashir
