Hi All.....We have a problem.....
Company has purchased Solidworks PCB 2020 to link in with the mechanical side. Currently most PCB designs are on P-Cad 2002/2006.
We have also upgraded the hardware.
Now this is where the problem comes in.
The licence codes for P-Cad 2006......Well no one in IT...

A problem with PDIFOUT.EXE
Have been using this to convert old DOS circuits to P-CAD 2002 with no problem.
Anyway, went to use it yesterday to convert a circuit, and it started to run, then came up with:
ERROR: Could not open Message file.

Create your footprint, but position the component origin (pick point) the radius of your circle away, so when you select the component it will rotate around the circle centre.
If the LED's are to be positioned equally around the circle, then divide 360 degees by how many LED's you have and...

When you say "replace in PDF DBunit CMM" What do I actually need to do. Modify the PDF file? if so how? If I double click/open it, it just says "Adobe Reader could not open as it is not a supported file"

Have one of our old DOS designs to modify which was laid out in METRIC. (here it comes)
When I PDIF'ed the design in, it came at scale 2.54!!!! (a bit big)
I changed "OPTIONS-CONFIGURE-UNITS" both ways (metric & imperial) and read it...

I'm trying to get a old DOS schematic V5.02 into P-Cad 2000.
I've run PDIFOUT and got the pdf file. BUT on trying to import it, it fails and i get an error report with:-
Error: Unrecognized syntax near line 5703.
Any ideas?
