You can apply individual mesh properties to any object in project, just right-mouse-click on object in project-tree and select 'Local mesh properties'. But i think that Your problem is not in this, looks like a problem with specific analyze of electrically large structures. If You upload Your...
I'm analyzed Your project in HFSS v13 without troubles. Check Your hardware, OS etc. Maybe, it's a v12 trouble. What type of results do You want to see?
If You want to import Your object from dxf, You can use two ways:
1. Import 2D closed polyline as 3D-object (File/Import/DXF). During importing You should apply material, elevation and thikness for extruding polyline, after that You have 3D object in components tree.
2. Import 2D opened polyline...
You can draw 3-D spiral in AutoCAD by using built-in VBA-based scripting language. After that You can export Your drawing into ACIS SAT file and import it to CST MWS. But much more simple to draw spiral directly in CST MWS - in this case You can make parametric model and can easily change the...
As I understand You can't control both I and V to control power on discrete port, only 'I or V' possible (use user-defined signal if gaussian pulse not enough). CST normed the input power to 1W on every frequency point when calculate E- and H-fields, surface current etc. Did You mean the control...
About discrete ports: check 'Monitor voltage and current' in port options to control V and I.
About time-domain energy: total (E and M) energy during the time-domain simulation recorded in 1D-Results/Energy. This energy normalized to maximum.

You can't import CST mod file to CAD, because mod file is VB script with all history of project. Use File/Export/SAT in CST to make an ACIS SAT file with 3D structure.

Matlab problem!
It is a line type. First character 'b' means that line will blue color. Second character '-' means that line will be continous. See 'LineSpec' in Matlab help.

As I understand You need to write .INF (not .INI) file to add/remove driver. I don't know the possible this or not, but some info You can find in 'Programming the Microsoft Windows Driver Model' by W. Oney in Ch. 15.

It's depends on the real operating mode of microstrip line. If this line placed in box with metal shield on the top and this shield closest than one wavelength (another criterium also possible) You should consider it in simulation. If this shield far from microstrip or covered the absorber You...
In CST You can extrude only planar profile. You can create this profile as curve and 'Extrude the planar curve' or You can load the profile points list from ASCII file in 'Objects/Extrude'. But You can't extrude the non-flat surface.

Kit
