rfid circuit
I have seen RFID readers/writers with 1 transistor as oscillator and 1 LM324 working as detector, very fast and nice design. Anyone has a schematic?
Thank You in advance

you can start looking at Philips (NXP) HTRC11001 it's a simple IC that needs a small microprocessor for data handling. it works at 125kHz

hello,
I recently made a project with an ATmega64 microcontroller powered by an off-line switching power supply (230V) made with a Power Integration's TNY264 chip (as per application examples, there a PI filter at the input.
what happens is that sometimes the ATmega goes to reset or LOSES...
RFID TAG reader
Hi,
so far I have been using the HTRC1100 tag reader chip from Philips for 125KHz transponders.
Now I have to design a new board but the power supply has to be 3.3Volts.
Do You know of any similar IC that works at 3.3 volts?
thanks in advance.

if you want to write something from an external bus into the DATA vector you have to put it into three state, using some direction control signals that disables DATA outputs.
eg:
if (wr= active )then
data<="ZZZZZZZZ";
otherwise the DATA output buffers are always enabled and you get a conflict...
fpga gclk
The synthesizer detected a signal used as a clock source, so it synthesize it as a bufclk.
once you go to the implementation, ISE finds that a bufclk cannot be put on that pin.
just instruct the synthesizer (in your source code) not to use a bufclk for that signal.
This can be done...
Hi everybody!
I am designing a digital multimeter with a MAX134.
My problem is that I don't want to use any mechanical switch or relay when changing the measuring function from voltage to current.
any idea?
thanks in advance

Re: pushbuttons....
I think the reed relay is the best solution, it gives You insulation and no problems related to the matrix topology of the keyboard.

You mean that I could generate 4 analog levels to be sent to the TX module, then get them from the receiver module, convert these signals into digital symbols (ADC, comparator) and use them? Nice idea, especially if those AV modules are cheap.
Thanks a lot

automatic window opener circuit
take a motor driver from ST, with a shunt resistor you can get the motor current, use a comparator (or an analog channel of the micro) to see when the current is more than what is needed to move the window. A small microprocessor can handle the logics of the...
Thanks for your suggestion, but I still think that a digital transmission could give me more security and flexibility. I can handle FPGAs for compression but I don't know what to choose for the communication.
thanks
short range wireless video transmission
so far my intention is to use a color TFT display, then I need to interface it with a controller. what about a digital transmission?

kd2bd modulator
Hi everybody,
I need to design a short range (4-5 meters) wireless connection from a camera to an 1/2VGA color LCD display. Which is the best way? analog transmission? digital with compression? bluetooth?
thank You for Your suggestions!
